Garnets are taking shaping

Situated above the village of Moos, the two garnets, which are modelled on the geological rock formations of the Passeiertal valley, are nearing completion as regards the exterior work.

The smaller of the two has an open platform offering a breathtaking view down to Moos and across to the far end of the Passeiertal valley. The interior of the second geometrical stone block will be completed during the winter months. Alongside an information station, there will also be an entertaining assortment of fascinating facts and figures about the pass road’s elevation profile, the glacial mill, the waterfall, the villages of Moos and Pfelders, the Passeiertal valley and lots more besides. The starting point of “The Timmelsjoch Experience”, along with its end point on the South Tyrolean side, are scheduled to be completed in time for the next opening of the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road between the end of May and the beginning of June.
