29.8.21 – the 40th Ötztal Cycling Marathon!

The Ötztal Cycling Marathon is considered as the most demanding in the Alps. Around 4,000 racing cyclists have set themselves the goal of reaching the finish line again this year.

The route of the cycling marathon leads over a total of 238 kilometers, from Sölden to South Tyrol. Along this route, 4 Alpine passes - Kühtaisattel, Brenner Pass, Jaufen Pass and Timmelsjoch, as well as an incredible 5,500 meters of altitude with a gradient of up to 14% must be overcome.
